Daro, could you tell our users something about yourself? Everyone knows where you are from and how you are old, but what are you doing beyond Tibiopedia?

I'm a student, last year. Actually, I'm starting my Master Thesis - and it's not an easy task During the last year of studies, you don't have a lot of lectures so I work a bit - of course I create websites, but remotely. Within 3 months I will start working stationary. Additionally, I read some books but mostly these are about my job - I don't know why but I am completely not interested in entertaining books. When I have free time, I prefer to spend my day on exercises such swimming pool, bike, running (rather in forest). Or maybe when such day happens, I'm just laying in front of TV - than I'm watching VIVA Also I enjoy watching some serials like: Dexter, Smallville, Spartakus, etc. or movies - mostly romantic comedies or movies full of special effects - sometimes it is worthy to go to the cinema I don't despise good cabarets, but how to find time for all of these?...

Now we know something about you. One question from our user. Where did the idea to create Tibiopedia arose?

The idea to create Tibian fansite arose in my friend's head who started to work on this. In 2003 he asked me to help him in merits and to update information about monsters and items. After some time, our roles have changed and I became website's admin, than my friends resigned and I had to care about everything. After two years when some problems occurred, I decided to stop working on fansite. The idea arose again in March 2008 when I asked Kuba to help me with graphics. Programmer + graphic artist is all you need to create a website. Of course, we weren't alone, we had some helpers at the beginning. The fansite is a continuation of the work from 2003-2004, additionally ideally at the same time, fansite programme was created so everything had bigger sense.

Could you tell us how the fansite has developed during past yeast?

So many things have happened since the beginning that it is difficult to divide it into some intervals or periods. I think that we worked hardest and put most effort to our system update. 4300 new users have registered in past year and it is 70% of all users and we have noticed more than 1 000 000 unique visits so I think that everything is going in good direction.

Daro, can you share some information about plans for the future with us? I mean development of existing tools and implementation of new ones.

Unfortunately, our plans are internal issue. We don't have any strict plans, we just have famous TODO list on which we note down interesting project which should be developed. We don't want to stick to any list because you never know what might happen, what idea will come about which should be implemented immediately. Good example are recent changes that were suggested by our users. We haven't had them on our list, but became implemented right after it was suggested.
As far as future plans are concerned, I can only say that we would like to create Tibiopedia Manual in order to inform all users what they can do on our fansite - you can do a lot

Kuba is head graphic artist and most mysterious person.

Kuba, can you say something about yourself to our users? You are the most mysterious person from the team.

My name is Jakub and I was born in the year of Chernobyl xD, currently I am about to finish my studies on The Gdańsk University of Technology, IT degree.
I spend most of my time on studies and work, in free time I work on Tibiopedia.pl
I don't have much in common with Tibia, because I got acquainted with this game quite late and I wasn't involved as much as other players. Nevertheless, I became in familiar terms with this game owing to MastroDaro who presented me mysteries of that world xD
When we met each other in Uni, Daro was experienced and had one game-related website on his account.
As not experienced player, I don't take part in discussions on forum so that's why only few people know my modest personality ;P Nevertheless, I try to keep an eye on discussions and constantly I am learning new things about the game.

You are responsible for graphics on our fansite, do you expect any changes as far as the layout is concerned?

As a graphic artist, I care about coherent layout and visual attractiveness of the fansite. Decisions about the layout are consulted with Daro, who implements new functions involving graphical changes and Romano who is the voice of the community. We have alternative layout in our plans, on which I was working with Romano. Unfortunately, day is short and will is weak (everyone wants to have a rest) and that's why it has been delayed.

Romano - started as an editor and owing to his hard work, became administrator.

Romano, the first question concerns your private life. Tell us something about this what you are doing while not working on Tibiopedia?

Ohh, I must admit that I do a lot. I will start with information that I left Poland and started studying in London where I am right now. There are over 100 sport clubs and societies on my uni so I could choose a lot ;p Well, but I train water polo, skate around London, explore the city very frequently, meet with friends and hang out around with them… yeah and some parties from time to time. I would forgot… I'm having fun with F1 manager game (f1 is my favorite sport!)

So now question about Tibiopedia. First one: Are you satisfied with this what you are doing?

If I wasn't satisfied, I wouldn't be here! Of course, it makes me very happy and provides a lot of entertainment, however, there are some situations when I would like to say some sentences to few people. Generally, I am a kind of calm person so you will never notice that ;p Coming back to satisfaction, I was passed IB (International Baccalaureate) exams which were in English, so while translating tens of articles for Tibiopedia, I developed my English. Maybe I am in London owing to Tibiopedia? ;p Also, I developed my IT skills here as I spent innumerable amount of hours with Daro. For example I investigated system of changing outfits and after this we created Tibiopedia Outfiter. Definitely, it provides me with a lot of satisfaction!

You take care about Tibiopedia.pl Team, what can you can about it?

Top secret! Oh alright, I will tell you, but schhhh! Don't tell anyone. Team as all other teams, has its strengths and weaknesses and from time to time it has to be revised. I think that effects of the team's work are obviously visible because practically we write all news immediately, create our own articles, update database and create own content. Well, it happens that inactivity of one person has an impact on the whole team. Still I am very happy about this how the team is working, as well as CipSoft do In my opinion, the key to success it an ability to react as soon as problems/conflicts arise (that has happened) or the needs of community change. Additionally, I hope that during my studies I will expand my knowledge about management in order to make the team happy about my work Concluding, respect for the team!

Emek, as you're a moderator, which can be found on our site most of the time, we will start from you. Tell us something about yourself.

To tell something about myself, you're saying.. So I'm 18 years old, I'm a student of mechanical technical college. I like to play football very much and most team games, listen to rock music and in my spare time I like to go for long walks on the meadows with my dog.

Now tell us how looks the job of Tibiopedia.pl moderator?

How is the work of the moderator? Hmmm, our work is mainly based on placating forum users, constant reading new posts and helping new users reliant of acquainting with the rules and unique bb codes. Of course, if a post breaks the rules, we are forced to use the edit option, delete, and as a last resort warn, however, we try to solve the matters peacefully and to use this feature as seldom as possible.

Does your work on the site satisfy you?

Does the work brings satisfy me? Of course it does! I'm glad that most people appreciate it how I work and how much time I spend on the site, but the biggest satisfaction for me is reading the private messages from users which include acknowledgment for that I'm able to approach them humanly, to explain the matter, and not only use the warn feature. Of course there are situations in which I regret that I'm a moderator, for example there are moments in which I'm being attacked by users that I don't give them full freedom of expression or that "I can't drop dead off their threads ".

It's time for you, Niusia. Tell us something about yourself.

So, my name is Paulina, I come from a beautiful city called Świnoujscie (but you can also meet me very often in Szczecinek and Szczecin ^^), I turned 18 this year. I play Tibia since 2003. My adventure with Tibiopedia was planned from its beginning, because I know Darek for several years, recently passed 2 years since I'm here . I love to read Stephen King's books and my two little labradors <3.

You fulfil two functions on the site - moderator and editor. Do you like what you are doing?

Moderator is an interesting function if someone has time to browse the whole forum, to correct the various posts, etc., I actually like to do such things, as for the editor, adding loot to the monster - probably my most beloved thing , generally I don't regret that I have such functions, I'm even happy.

There are three girls in Tibiopedia's Team. How do you get along?

Once I had good contact with all, although in recent times I have really little time, I hope that everything will stabilise as soon as possible and I can get to know more not only about the girls, but also about new people from Team =p.

And by the way I would like to greet our old team from Nova, Pythera and people from Olympia, Celesta, Harmonia and my little love from Szczecin <3 and of course the whole Tibiopedia.pl Team and you Dear Users ^^.

Leferty, the first question, as a rule, relates to what you along with the work on Tibiopedia.pl?

I don't know how original I'll be here, I turned 25 years old, so I can ill afford resting. Over the last few (3.5) years I worked as an IT service engineer and service cash registers, I'm currently working for HP. Simultaneously I'm studying in absentia at the Technical University of Łódź, I unprofessionally but regularly play football and I train my hamster. In this all I am supported by my girlfriend, Kasia ; )

Do moderators meet any funny incidents while working?

I can't recall anything from memory that would be directly related to the function on Tibiopedia.pl, moderator, we're pretty organized, so we rather don't meet any incidents and the community is so friendly that we can often use the forum like any other user. We have insight into the deleted and edited posts, but there are usually posts that break rules, not the funny ones ; )
In the end, we laugh at the same what the rest of Tibiopedia.pl users do, at Tadek! ; )

From where did you get the idea to cooperate with Tibiopedia?

I had the pleasure to meet Darek a lot of time before, he seemed normal to me, I think he though the same about me. For a long time there was no site about Tibia, that I could recommend to Polish Tibian who doesn't speak English. When Tibiopedia.pl became supported fansite, I knew that the same normal person whom I met earlier is responsible for the design, and I as a moderator could in greater or lesser extent contribute to the fact that the site won't fall by the wayside. My application was processed successfully, I think I fulfil my duties well and now I have something that I can recommend to Polish Tibians ; )

Let's start with the information about you, Yenio.

I can only say that I'm interested in literature, poetry, mysticism and religions, beliefs and all that's associated with them. In my spare time I like to chill out with friends, go on a long walk to the forest with my dogs (and cat), read a good book or just sit at home, watch a good movie and relax after a hard day at school.

You are the youngest if it comes to the placement in Tibiopedia.pl team and previously you held different function. Tell us what was the function and why you changed it?

Yes, I'm the youngest if it comes to the placement in Tibiopedia.pl team. Previously I was a journalist, saying more precisely I engaged translating all the sorts of news, articles and other shorter (but also longer) written forms that has appeared on the site. After a short period of redacting the site I had to leave Tibiopedia.pl for some time, but as you can see, I was able to return. The change in rank was due to previous experiences. At one time I was a journalist on other sites (not related to Tibia) and worked on translations there, but mainly supervised the work of the forum. I think the main reason for this decision was that I simply have more experience moderating. Besides... I like green very much.

Tell us: do you like the work on the site?

As a member of the Tibiopedia.pl team I have no objections. Users are polite (although I see some troubling signs of decline in that culture). The whole team supports each other, everyone is positively orientated to each other, you can say that our team is a kind of "Internet family." Sometimes I wish that more people have paid attention to what they write, and write less off-topic, because sometimes my finger hurts because of pressing the "Edit" or " Delete" buttons. Generally, as a moderator, I try to strictly respect the rules, thus the pretty large number of distributed warns, but "I am here only to clean up"...

At the beginning tell us something about yourself privately, Kruchy.

So, my name is Krzysztof and I live in Bydgoszcz. I'm in 3rd class of economic technical college, my hobby is Tibia, astronomy, and making movies. My favorite band is Linkin Park, and my goal is to set up my own business and become a multimillionaire.

Another question relates to your work on the site, tell us what is the editor's job like?

Editor mainly engages with the database, adds new and edits old items/monsters/quests, etc.

Does the editor's job require teamwork skills?

Not exactly, the tasks are divided into batches and each one takes up his/her part.

Quests are introduced slowly on the site. As we all know it's the job of editors. Can you tell us whether creating a spoiler for the quest is difficult and how long it takes?

It depends on the quest, the preparation of a long quest might take up to several hours and the work should be divided into several days in small batches. I divide my work on the parts, first I write the required items and missions and then I describe each of them. Later I add the necessary screens and at the end links. After finished work I check if everything is fine, if bb codes work and how looks the spoiler in general. When everything is correct, I throw the quest to the panel. Doing quest spoilers maybe isn't difficult, but it's quite tiring and boring.

Now tell us how did you get the idea of establishing work with Tibiopedia and if this what you're doing gives you satisfaction. Justify it.

I registered on Tibiopedia.pl, because I couldn't stand spam and noobs from the old Polish fansite with whom the moderators couldn't handle. I started creating Menera Thread, but soon after I was writting on whole forum, inviting friends to the site. Finally one day Romano asked me to to msg him, I was curious about what's going on. He offered me a job on the site, I didn't know how it will look. I became an editor, I was glad because I have never had a higher rank on the forum. Now this is no longer satisfying as much as then, this is due to lack of time, but overall I'm glad that I have the influence on the development of the site, due to me we have for example achievements. I hope that I can update them soon ^^.

Nazghrel, first of all, tell us something about yourself privately.

My name is Tomasz and I'm from Zielona Góra (only Falubaz of course xD) and I'm 20 years old. I love my city, and of course graphics. What more can I say, I'd like to keep the rest for myself.

Now tell us precisely: what do you do?

I mainly engage with graphics to the articles, interviews, something to site if needed, and lately the continuation of the Tadek's adventures our clumsy .

Your work requires close cooperation with the journalists, how do you work with them?

The work with journalists is very good, they write what's needed, we discuss ideas together, I keep giving them the project to verify and if you something needs to be improved or changed, something, there are no problems with this.

The last question to you - Do you feel satisfied with this what you are doing on the site?

Yes, I feel satisfaction. Graphics is my hobby and when I can connect this with the world of Tibia, where I'm present for several years, I feel great in this and sometimes there are really great works.

My name is Agata and I recently turned 23 years old. I live in Ostrów Wielkopolski but I also stay in Kamil's - my boyfriend (whom I dearly greet) - house in Stalowa Wola : P Music is an important role in my life. In addition, I love animals (especially cats and dogs) and I love to cook. As for the game, I started my adventure with Tibia over 6 years ago. I'm a humble person and I don't like to write much about myself : )

Why did you join Tibopedia.pl Team?

I have always liked helping people. When someone had a problem with the quest or any other thing in the game, he always asked me for help. When Tibiopedia joined the fansites program and announced recruitment of editors I just signed up because that way I can offer my help more people, and by the way write down everything in the form of spoilers or posts to which I can later refer. I don't regret that I sent the application. I'm happy that I belong to the Tibiopedia.pl team!

What is Tibiopedia for you and what does it give to you?

Tibiopedia for me is not only a source of knowledge about the game, but a place to show up. Through my and the whole Tibiopedia.pl team's work I know that I can recommend it to any player that's from Poland, who will find many interesting things here. Besides, it's a great place to get to know! What do I get? First, I met lots of wonderful people here. (Some people from the team who play on Harmonia joined my guild, which I dearly greet - Hail Raissa ). Secondly, I can still improve my English. Thirdly, it gives me enormous satisfaction from helping others. And the list could go on..

Sure, I do. Immediately after registering on this site I dreamed of this rank. First I was an editor, but I knew that I wanted to be a journalist of the forum. Do you like the work with Tibiopedia.pl team?

Of course yes. I finally found a place where I can put to good use my knowledge about English. Now a reflection from a bit "another barrel" - the working team is really cool and funny people. The atmosphere is great, I'm very glad that I joined the Tibiopedia.pl team.

To other team members: How important is the work on the site for you? What was the motivation to join the team?

Balix Sacrum: How important is the work on the site for me? This can't be circumscribe expressly. It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction - I met cool people and I'm glad that I'm in the team. And the answer to the second part of the question: a friend (who later became one of the journalists) showed me this site. Quests have always interested me, so I thought if I can submit application for the position of editor and create no spoilers that are helpful for other players and also actively participate in creating the site.

MoWN: I like to help others in real life as well as in the game. That's why I decided to use this feature and join Tibiopedia.pl Team. However, I wasn't brave enought to officialy write an application. Ocassion came to me ;p I wrote the application and was accepted.
